AquaTru filters are designed to be long-lasting and easy to replace — but only if you buy the right ones for your model. Here's everything you need to know for both the Classic and the Carafe.
This is the most common mistake AquaTru owners make. The Classic/Classic Smart/Under Sink models use one filter set. The Carafe uses a completely different set. They are not compatible. Always confirm your model before ordering.
| Stage 1–2: Pre-Carbon Filter | Every 6 months or 600 gallons — whichever comes first |
| Stage 3: RO Membrane | Every 2 years or 1,200 gallons — whichever comes first |

The unit's filter life indicator will light up the corresponding filter number on the front panel when it's time to replace. You don't need to track dates manually — the system tracks usage and alerts you.

Buy directly from AquaTru, Amazon, or authorized retailers. Avoid third-party "compatible" filters — AquaTru's NSF certifications apply to their genuine filters only, and using off-brand filters may void your warranty.
